GalTeC has been developed in a program under a contract of the German Aerospace Center DLR (Förderkennzeichen: 50NA0505) funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).

Under leadership of Thales ATM GmbH the work in the GalTeC program was performed in cooperation with NavPos Systems GmbH. The GalTeC Prediction and Simulation Tool is designed, developed and implemented by the project partner NavPos Systems GmbH, a company with deep expertise in GNSS, SBAS and GBAS algorithms and systems.

Thales ATM GmbH located in Korntal-Münchingen, close to Stuttgart, is part of the Thales Air Systems Division. In Thales ATM a team of experts with long-lasting and in-depth expertise in GNSS, Ground Based Augmentation Systems, and Safety-of-Life applications has designed, developed and implemented the GalTeC system. NavPos Systems located in Salem, South Germany, has valuably contributed to the project with their profound knowledge on GNSS performance simulations and an evolved derivative of their GNSS Service Volume simulator.
