Analysis Module
The GalTeC Analysis module is the final processing and graphical tool set in the functional chain before the Services Provision. The structure of Analysis for the GNSS systems Galileo, GPS, GPS/EGNOS and GLONASS is broken down into following examination areas:
- Direct Signal domain
- User Range domain
- User Position domain
The main purposes of data analysis are:
- generation of indicators based on the reference orbit determination to check the performance of GNSS systems
- check and validate the performance in system domain and user domain
- visualization of the analysis results
The data analysis is based on the outputs of the GalTeC receivers (Dual Frequency GPS/EGNOS. GPS/GLONASS, GPS/Giove) and on the outputs from the GalTeC Reference Module - particularly SISRE, SISRA and PVT results inclusive of measurement residuals.
The figure below shows, as an example, a result for EGNOS integrity performance on 22. June 2007.
The Signal In Space domain performance analysis is used to process and analyse the SISRE results from the Reference Module (OD & TS), which is based on GNSS ephemeris errors, satellite clock parameter errors. These Analysis is complemented by other statistical analysis functions and represented by appropriate graphical functions. Further ranging and satellite tracking performance, at user level, is analysed (i.e. UERE, SV Tracking and SBAS Message Flow).
In the figure below the SIS performance of GPS PRN-4 is shown on 27. June 2007. It has on average a slight bias of 1 meter.
